We go to long lengths to remove errors from Motif so that it runs without issues. Unfortunately however,sometimes an error does occur.

If Motif detects that an error has occurred, it will:

  1. display a notification at the top of its brower window, and
  2. report the error back to our servers with some diagnostics so that we can investigate its cause and develop a fix to prevent it re-occurring.

The notification will recommend that Motif be restarted. While it is possible to continue using Motif, this can lead to unpredictable behaviour as the error may have affected Motif’s internal data structures.

If an error is occurring multiple times and affecting your workflow, please contact your broker and advise of the issue. This will assist us with prioritising the issue and developing a fix or providing a workaround until the issue is resolved.
